Thank you so much, Adam! That was exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. Excellent stuff. Good luck on your PhD, it sounds like very interesting research.

This might sound pretentious but I use the presence of Serpico in upcountry Thailand in my PhD research.

He represents good honest values, and he is a cop rooting out bad cops. Most Thais deeply respect their institutions, but confront corruption often, and particularly from the police. This is especially so for truck drivers, on whose vehicles you see the logo most often. So a guy who upolds authority by fighting the corrupt bad guys really appeals to local values.

The film also fits into a genre of Thai films popular in the 1970s (and still now) about gunmen, so it is easy to understand across the cultural divide from the USA to Thailand.

Any comments? Thoughts? If so, please email me: adamitobur@yahoo.com

M~

A design suggestion: You might want to jack up the contrast between the black background and your body text--it's a bit difficult to read at the moment. Apologies for the off-topic comment.

I guess you've never seen Serpico, starring Al Pacino. That's Al. Couldn't tell you anything about the decal itself. Good luck.
