The NYTimes’ Frugal Traveler is at it Again

A kindred heart, to be sure, but with a much more enviable job title than mine, the New York Times’ Frugal Traveler is on the road again, this time making his way zig-zag style around the lower 48 United States.

I like this series because, well, that’s what I do! And now the fella is uploading short video podcasts each Wednesday so you can follow along on his journey. Crazy how similar his videos are to Audrey and my ‘Cheap Dates‘! Maybe she and I will be working for the NYTimes one day, bringing you hot video action from all over the globe! Stay tuned.

The two bad things about the NYTime’s videos: 1.) pre-roll advertisments (boring!) and 2.) no embedding! (you’ll have to click through to watch them).

Hi Mark,

I'm a fan of your site and your adventures, so it was fun to see you link to this -- I just spent all day Tuesday cutting the entry they posted for Wednesday. There are, I think, eleven more of these on the way -- and the Traveler is definitely going to have a fun summer....
