  • Fun thing to do after eating beets...check your poo. And thanks for the shout out.
  • Frank: LOL! I guess red wine counts. It's healthy, after all!

Lexie: My suggestion, of course, is not to buy them, but to make your own pickled radishes! http://www.howtopickle.com/
  • I love beets! Pickled beets are one of my favorite foods. Also, since you are all healthy people--where can I get pickled radishes like they have at Mediterranean restaurants? I tried Asian pickled radishes but they aren't the same. I want the pink ones.

    Any leads?
  • OMG, beets are one of the few foods I would never eat. I HATE the taste because my mother used to make us eat pickled beets when we were kids. Ugh...I think I may have to set the bar at pomegranate juice...or does grape juice count as "red"? Hey, how about red wine...yeah, I'll go with that.

  • They sure are. I never thought to try them as a kid. Always struck me as gross and weird. But, my oh my are they good!
  • Beets are one of my favorite vegetable snacks, but are often overlooked.
