Thanks for the kudos, Mark. This was definitely one of the more fascinating photo essays I've come across.

Wow, Suzy, that's cool! I wasn't even sure if these kids were in America or what. Sweetness.

The guy in the gold shirt is my friend Lawrence, and the girl with the white dog is Ellie from Oklahoma. She slept on my floor for two days, fixed my doorbell and made some kickass gumbo. It's wierd to see them in that sort of frame.

What confuses me is how the assumption of drugs appears in all of the comments. Most hobos i know are decent alcoholics, but don't touch much else.

Yeah, some of those images are pretty shocking, for sure. But wow, interesting stuff. Did you see 'Into the Wild"?

Sorry to be so quick with my first comment but staying on topic, some excellent photos. But I must be honest and say my gut reaction is sympathy for the dogs. Thanks for posting extra to the vlogs, makes site inspection mandatory.

Mark, Please excuse me if I come off as an old curmudgeon, but if that tattoo on the girls face is real, well it reminds me of the line in Pulp Fiction when John Travola asks Eric Stoltz, " Is she the one with all the shit on her face". Sorry I'm old school.
