I really do hate the presidential political season, when nearly everyone seems to support blatant, outrageous lies like their heads are up their asses. Where do they come from? *sigh* Boy, what a world we live in. It’s best to just laugh it off…

I took a couple grabs of my computer screen yesterday because I thought I saw something in them. A sign of the times, if you will. I lament this because I spend WAY too much time on the Internet and am blogging about screenshots (ugh.) and because they’re inside jokes for the Innnnernet wonkies in the house. We got to enjoy a very relaxing, sunny summer day listening to music outside at Drexel’s campus this past weekend (see all the photos here). The Popped! Music Festival got a lot bigger this year. Last spring we were cramming into small local venues watching great up and coming area bands. This year, it was a full-on festival complete with international musical acts.
My friend Alexis did a great job pulling this thing together over the past year. I helped her out planning a bit early on, so Audrey and I scored some VIP passes and had a good time watching the (ahem) mild debauchery going on back stage.

You gotta love the Presidential political season, eh? I’m already sick of everything being taken so seriously, but it’s been pretty awesome how these lil’ nuggets have been popping up all over. Pennsylvania’s the next battle ground state, and Lord knows I’m voting for a guy who jumps from fiery helicopters on his skateboard while holding nunchucks!
My pal Anna and her friend Shannon have been doing some pretty awesome social anthropology research on young male humans in Philly. They’ve got a couple diagrams of guys with different styles. Oddly, they seem to have drawn me in the diagram for ‘Fishtown Dude‘! LOL!
